When it comes to trending tags in the blogging world, I always seem to be behind everyone else (don't ask why - maybe it's because I'm scared that no-one reads my blog and I might look like a bit of a loser), however - I have seen posts from some of my favourite bloggers with the subject of "how much is your face worth" and not only did it seem like a really fun post to do, but I was also interested in how much money I actually spend on my every day makeup look.
The idea of this tag is to take note of every makeup item you have used on your face on a certain day (I thought it would be more accurate if I focused on the makeup I use on a daily basis), add up the costs of each product/item and then total it to work out how much you spend. I'm hoping I don't get too much of a shock!

So to put it bluntly, I'm wearing nearly £200 worth of makeup on my face every day!? That really has shocked me as the fact that I'm constantly wearing those products means that I'm also constantly re-purchasing them - so I'm spending over £200 just on the basics every few months... That is pretty ridiculous. But being completely honest, is it gonna stop me buying even more makeup that I don't need every month? Probably not. Has it made me want to skip certain parts of my makeup routine and become more of a natural beauty? Nope. I wasn't expecting this post to be a life changer as I love every single product that I use and feel that the money I'm spending is well worth it as it makes me feel comfortable, but it has definitely made me realise that I do have a bit of an obsession and has kind of answered my question as to why I have to go through 3 baby wipes every night when taking my makeup off. Oops.
