As Mother's day is fast approaching and only a few days away now, I thought I would post a last minute gift guide for those who are panicking on what to buy. If your mum is a major fusspot like mine, you'll understand how much of a struggle Mother's day, birthdays and all the rest can be. I've put together a mixed selection of some different ideas that are also reasonably priced so I'm hoping it'll give those last minute people some inspo!
CANDLES: There's nothing more relaxing than winding down after a stressful day with a hot bubble bath and a lit candle. These Jo Malone candles are perfect for a Mother's day gift although they can be a little bit pricey so don't worry, there are still cheaper alternatives. Yankee Candles are amazing as there are hundreds of different scents to choose from at a much cheaper price.
FLOWERS: These are ALWAYS a massive winner no matter what the occasion is. No female could ever deny that receiving a massive bouquet of flowers doesn't make you feel extra special, no matter who they're from. I absolutely love this bouquet from Moonpig - the creams and pinks go beautifully together and they would look lovely in my mum's bedroom. Moonpig are doing Mother's day deliveries if you order by 2pm this Saturday so you've still got time to make a last minute purchase!
SPA DAY: If you're willing to splash out that little bit extra for your mum this year, why not treat her to a relaxing spa day with a champagne breakfast? Buyagift have some affordable 2 for 1 packages on their site which include various treatments such as massages, facials, manicures and pedicures. You can choose nearby spas or you can even make a weekend of it by staying somewhere that little bit further away. This will make her feel super spoilt and is also an excuse for you to enjoy the relaxation too!
PERFUME: Every woman in the world loves a new bottle of perfume. There's no better feeling than sprucing yourself up with a new scent and making yourself smell and feel beautiful. Personally, I see perfume as a luxury that I don't tend to buy for myself that often, so receiving it as a gift from someone else makes it that little bit more special. This Chloe perfume is one of my mum's favourite scents and it has a really pretty and well presented bottle too. The cute little bow makes it the perfect gift.
MAKEUP: My mum tends to like the same makeup brands as me so she's fairly easy to buy for in that way. She's a massive lover of Mac (she probably has more products than me) so with the new Cinderella collection out now, this beautiful pink lipstick in 'Royal Ball' could be perfect. Fresh new makeup is every woman's dream.
JEWELLERY: I was in Pandora a few days ago having a little look at the rings and I fell in love with so many of them. Jewellery is another one of those luxuries that a woman doesn't buy herself very often so it's always a lovely and thoughtful little treat when someone else does. There is a huge selection of affordable Mother's day gifts to choose from and with some of the rings being as low as £35, they're not gonna break the bank either.
LUSH BATH PRODUCTS: I don't know about you, but I couldn't think of many things that beat a relaxing LUSH bath before bed. LUSH are well known for their huge selection of products... From massage bars, bath bombs and shower gels to shampoos and conditioners, which not only make your bath look and smell amazing, but each product is also good for the body in some kind of way. Their new collection is specifically designed for Mother's Day and include products such as the 'Mother Superior' bubble bar and the 'Love You Mum' soap which are all at such an affordable price too.
How are you treating your mum this Mother's Day?
