Hey everyone, hope you're having a lovely weekend besides the horrible weather! I've been off work all weekend so spent my time catching up on blog/Instagram posts which has made me feel very productive! Today I thought I would talk about one of my favourite beauty products of all time... The Urban Decay Naked 3 palette - which I'm sure unless you've been hiding away under a rock, you would've most definitely heard amazing things about it.
The palette contains 12 of the most popular pinky brown shades; Strange, Dust, Burnout, Limit, Buzz, Trick, Nooner, Liar, Factory, Mugshot, Darkside and Blackheart and also comes with the standard eyeshadow brush which I don't tend to use as I use MAC ones instead.
I've had this palette for over a year now and I'm still as in love as I was when I first laid eyes on it. Until recently, I've never really been one of those girls that rely on eyeshadow to complete a make-up look.. On an everyday basis I just tend to use a bit of liquid eyeliner and some mascara on my eyes (along with my face make-up and lipstick) and I've just never really made the effort to learn how to apply eyeshadow properly which then results in my make-up looking pretty much the same when I go out out which is rather annoying. This is one of the main reasons why I decided that I needed a good eyeshadow palette in my life, because maybe the reason why I haven't been bothered in teaching myself isn't just because I'm lazy, but because I haven't found the perfect eyeshadow to make me think 'WOW... this really does bring out my eyes and really does make me look better.'
Since owning this beautiful palette I've been experimenting with all different eyeshadow looks, whether they've been smoky, vibrant or natural and working out which ones look the best with my brown eyes and it's really made me realise what I was missing out on! The great thing about this palette along with the shades being amazingly pigmented, is the fact that it's extremely versatile. You can create looks for daytime with the pink toned matte shades as well as creating evening looks with the darker, more shimmery shades. I must admit, I was a little worried that the shades in this palette wouldn't suit my skin tone/eye colour before buying it, but when I started using it I figured that it is pretty much perfect for anyone of any skin and eye colour which is probably why it's so popular.
I can honestly say that this was one of the best beauty products that I've ever bought and every girl needs it in their make-up collection. I can't fault it in any way - even the rose gold packaging is beautiful! You can buy the Naked 3 palette here for £38 which I think is worth every penny!
What's your favourite Naked palette? Do you love this one as much as me?
