After trying and absolutely loving the Zoeva rose gold makeup brushes which I would highly recommend by the way, I was more than excited when I discovered that they had released their own makeup range too. One product that has caused major outbursts in the blogging world has been the brand new cocoa blend eyeshadow palette. If you're a food lover like me, you'll agree that there is nothing more tempting than an eyeshadow palette in the form of a chocolate bar. You know that feeling when you're opening a fresh box of beautifully wrapped Thorntons chocolates, not knowing just how delicious they're gonna be? Well, that's how it feels as you lift the lid of this luxurious brown and gold palette. Inside, are 10 beautiful eyeshadows in an assortment of chocolate themed shades offering a variety of finishes to create an extremely versatile look.
Whether you want to go for a single shade to create that quick and easy look or if you fancy adding a bit of sparkle to a matte or satin effect, this is a palette that every girl needs in their collection. Each shade has been inspired by our very own favourite sweet treats with names that are truly mouth-watering (Bitter Start, Sweeter End, Warm Notes, Subtle blend, Beans Are White, Pure Ganache, Substitute For Love, Freshly Toasted, Infusion and Delicate Acidity). The shadows are rich and highly pigmented and can be blended together or used on their own to create the most beautiful look, day or night time. I'm a huge lover of neutral browns and pinks paired with shimmery golds so this palette is the most perfect addition to my collection, especially as I'm currently training myself to wear eyeshadow on a daily basis.
My 3 favourite shades in particular are Warm Notes (known as a dupe to Mac's cranberry eyeshadow), Subtle Blend and Pure Ganache as they are completely different to what I've used before but are truly gorgeous and compliment each other perfectly. I can definitely see this being my go to palette as I start to experiment with my eyeshadow looks that little bit more, especially in the Autumn and Winter months.
In my opinion, Zoeva have got everything right with this palette and I really can't rave about it enough. Not only are the shadows beautiful on the outside, but they are paraben, oil, fragrance & phthalate free and also include vitamin E designed to give extreme pigmentation and an easy to blend texture which makes them beautiful on the inside too. You can get your Cocoa Blend palette here for only £15.50.
What do you think of this palette? Have you tried any others by Zoeva?
